I know this is a little off topic - but I'm just back and I just had to say to someone - wasn't that absolutely the MOST incredible school production...I was blown away...

I haven't seen it yet, we are going tonight. DS seemed to think it went well.

Simply - it is a triumph.
Don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet by mentioning my highlights but everything is quite amazing. For a state school on a tight budget with pupils still studying hard it is quite incredible.
Don't think it gives too much away to say I was amazed by the orchestra learning that whole score (there were a few wobbles but so what!)
All the cast were fantastic but two in particular were as good as I have seen on a West End stage.
I was a very proud mum - made me cry
I know Dr Medlicott has been under a lot of pressure - as have all the children of course - so I am sure he and his team would appreciate a quick email from anyone who enjoyed it.
Have a great time if you are going tonight - sure the last night will be even more special.

I thought there were at least three who could have been professional and a host of others who were very worthy of leading roles.

We weren't fortunate enough to get tickets. Is there any way of ever seeing it?
