GCSE Group sessions - YR 10 and above

Post by seriousmum »

Hello good people on the forum; it's been a while. It's amazing how one can switch off when you are not counting down to your own offer day. Needless to say..I was a mess this time last year.

That aside, I have a friend who is desperately looking for a GCSE study group for her DS. He is currently in Yr 10 and needs a study group to help bolster areas in the key subjects.

Any bright ideas - fairly urgent pls.

Hello Seriousmum. This might not be helpful. He needs to be with other students who are studying for the same exam board. The best option is at his own school. My own students formed study groups and sat together at lunchtime dealing with key areas and they asked for staff support when they needed it. They loved this method of learning and students from other classes would frequently drop in for a few new ideas.

Hi kingfisher, thanks for this. Sounds like it is going to be hard finding anything judging by the limited response.
