virginasbi - given that someone with 346 has been offered you must be really close - hang in there and you will almost certainly get a place off the waiting list.

Like KB said, you are so close virginasbi .. please please do not give up hope. I know of at least one boy offered CRGS who will be turning down their place.

does anyone know how many ranks would be between 344.349 and 345.66 ? I am trying to guess waiting list for my DS who was not offered i/c place at KEGS with 344.349 where 345.66 got it

I think it would be difficult to guess as around the cut off score there could be a number of DSs with score separated by a fraction of a point.

Thanks guys. To add insult to injury he did not get his second choice comprehensive either. a really bad day for us. But my wisdom to my DS is keep working, this was just one option in life and life is long

Please tell him he did really well - any other year he would have got a place with those scores.
And if I were a betting person I would put a few pounds on you getting good news in a weeks time when you get your waiting list ranking.

Thanks KB. I wrapped the news so that he feels that the local comprehensive, our third choice, where all his friends go is a success and he did not get a comedy score anyway (his words) in the eleven plus. Let's hope that the tide turns sometime.
