Is this an appeal scenario?

Southend told me that the original erroneous offer was different to what they had on their data base. I don't know whether that meant that the error would ave been picked up and eventually notified to the parent???? It's scary that I may not have known if I had not been browsing the forum.

i agree it is worrying that this happens to people - sort of thing that people may not know about unless they heard from a forum or the press etc etc
