How to Get Through - the countdown and the long wait

Post by fausto »

I am starting a light hearted thread for any of us who wish to vent, ask for support, share thoughts - rather like a coffee and cake corner.. just to chat and share.

Thanks Kace, leave a piece for me !

I was beginning to worry .. 53 views and no replies.. presumed nobody wanted to be light hearted or share ? Perhaps I should have said hard liquor corner ?

The 11+ outfit is washed and laid out for DS.. but apparently his "lucky pants" are in his games bag at school. Does that mean he went commando at school ?

That's just showing off, having your laundry ready three days in advance, fausto
I am still trying to work out the perfect snack for Saturday, although now you've put the idea of cake into my head, I may just have to go and bake one specially...
Three days and the waiting game will have started in earnest - that's when cake will be replaced by hard liquor!

Hi. I am majorly stressed. Luckily ds isn't. I only know a few other kids who are taking it and not really spoken to those mums about it. I tried to pre warn by son about the possible noise / pushiness etc on Saturday and he said "that's ridiculous, if you don't pass it's not the end of the world". I tend to agree with him so I will be attempting to relax. And eating lots of chocolate.

Chocolate is always helpful in these stressful situations isn't it !!! DD2 milking the attention this week requesting random dinners and desert treats, can't say my other DC are complaining though !! Everyone is a winner !
