The letter gives you the 2015 ranges but the previous years will be some what inaccurate as CCHS have introduced the catchment area since so 120 places go to within catchment(12.5 miles) and 30 to outside catchment.

Re: CCHS CEM results- discussion thread
They have only been using CEM for the last two years. The last girl in 2014 scored around 108 I/C and 2015 (with the extra class) was between 102 & 103. O/C this year was about 113.jaya_jc wrote:Hi,

Re: CCHS CEM results- discussion thread
So CCHS doesn't provide a rank (like Woodford apparently does) or even green/amber/yellow colour indication (like CSSE does)?
How difficult should it be for CCHS to provide rank for all applicants (separately for I/C & O/C)? That could put most (if not, all) conjectures and anxiety to rest. Just providing 105.41 as last year's guidance is neither accurate (since 102-103s did get in) nor very helpful (esp for O/C).

Re: CCHS CEM results- discussion thread
They have not stated either that 120 places go to I/C top ranked girls and only 30 places to top ranking girls O/C. They are dealt with on 2 separate lists. So I agree it is not very helpful and perhaps they should of split the scoring.
Re: CCHS CEM results- discussion thread
Of course this applies to the girls that place CCHS in their choices.
