Chance of SHSB

My son scored 336 , he would like to attend SHSB (IC), I've heard if u list both SHSB & WHSB you are pretty much guaranteed a place but he really didn't like the feel of WHSB. What do you think the chances of getting a place at SHSB, his second choice is our local comp. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your replies, so worried he will not get a place by only listing one grammar school, told him it is his decision where hee would like to go and SHSB was the only one he liked!

I'm only listing one grammar. We live in Chelmsford and if ds doesn't get into Kegs (although he should with his score) then he is going to one of the other secondary schools in Chelmsford. We didn't even look at any other grammars as I am not prepared to make him travel to another town for school x
