Today's Csse Exam, Pen or Pencil?

Post subject:  Today's Csse Exam, Pen or Pencil?
Morning all ,
My DD will be sitting the Csse exam today ...in two hours time. A quick last minute question please, they have asked for him to bring a Pen and a Pencil.
Do you think that the English paper /continious writing to be written in Pen? maths in Pencil?
Wanted to confirm so I can let him know please anyone.

My DS was instructed use the pen to write his name etc on the front. He used pencil for both tests.

I managed to ask at the door, and they said what ever your child is comfortable with,
