We have received an offer and accepted our first choice school,KEGS, as it is closest to us. I also applied for Colchester and Southend. We have received a welcome pack this morning from southend! I'll be calling on Monday so just in case he has been offered two places, there will be one at Southend opening up X

There seem to have been a few cases of miscommunication between Southend and Essex this year!!
Have you received your Kegs welcome pack too?!

Yes. Received from Kegs and confirmed acceptance of place via email (and had receipt confirmed)
The one from Southend had a certificate of congratulations too!

Did your son receive a KEGS place on 1st March or has he received it in the last few days?

From 1st March He scored 354 in catchment. We live a mile away from Kegs.
It's on his admissions notice on the website.
It's a mystery but I'll call Southend on Monday morning.
