Without looking for last year's diary to check when the Easter holidays were and looking at the dates people reported getting offers as recorded in the 2018 Collated Cut-offs sticky, I can say that the theoretical answer is no reason why not, since the waiting lists are maintained by the relevant local authorities, not the grammar schools .

Was that your home LA and if so, is it ouside Essex/ Southend? It's Southend Borough Council admissions team you need to talk to for the Southend and Westcliff grammar schools; Essex CC admissions for the Chelmsford and Colchester ones.
