Apply for school after the 11plus results or before?

It will not make a difference, it is not "first come, first served". Personally I would wait until you have the 11+ result as it you might want to optimise the range of schools your child will be able to go to , especially when you have several other non-selective schools you would be happy to consider instead. But ALWAYS put your choices in order of preference

No, as has been said. It's not a 'first come first serve,' basis.
You can make selections and change the preferences up until 11.59 on October 31st. Submitting them now doesn't mean it's final.
Have a list of schools you're considering including non selectives.
