It might help people if you say what you are looking for in a school as the best school for your son will be the one which suits him best (& probably the one which is easier to get to). What are his interests/sports etc. What type of school do you think would suit him?
Any differences in results are likely to be negligible for an individual pupil and could change drastically over a few years.
