'eck - have I got time to go to the supermarket?
Re: CSSE result: The final countdown!
Can someone please explain what scores mean?
Like if greater than X then high chance of acceptance
If less than Y then don't bother putting in CAF etc.

Remember, though, that all the grammar schools' admissions policies now include priority groups, so e.g. CCHSG and CRGS no longer just admit simply from the simple ranking of scores of all applicants.

Also does this help ? https://csse.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/ ... 111021.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Re: CSSE result: The final countdown!
the "priority group" started from 2021 entry right?

Thanks that's useful.hermanmunster wrote:Also does this help ? https://csse.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/ ... 111021.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
DD got 318. I wonder whether I should put as preference in CAF as OOC candidate because based on previous year's result there is no chance.
Re: CSSE result: The final countdown!
You won't prejudice your application for places at other schools by placing whichever school first (or anywhere) on your CAF and being turned down by it), so unless including it would mean ditching another school which would be a safe bet, you could include it anyway. You have to name the school and be refused a place if you want to appeal (although be aware that there is a very low success rate for Essex grammar school appeals).jxp wrote:Thanks that's useful.hermanmunster wrote:Also does this help ? https://csse.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/ ... 111021.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
