I hate to be a wet blanket, but with the score you mentioned in another post, unless your DS is being considered as Priority 1 (LAC/PLAC / PP), he almost certainly has no chance of a place at CRGS. Which would leave your options to be reasonably certain of a national offer day place at a grammar school to move into the priority admissions are for WHSB sometime within the next three weeks, or to The relevant area for Skinner's with a little more leeway. Which area's non-selectove options did you put on your CAF as fall-backs?Vasuin wrote:Hi We applied for Colchester Grammar, West Cliff, Skinners( Kent).

BTW, not all of the WHSB/ SHSB priority area is within the unitary Borough of Southend - part of SS3 (Shoeburyness is Southend, Great Wakering is in the Rochford District Council area, therefore Essex) and all of SS4, SS5, SS6, SS7 and SS8 come under Essex County Council. So if you move to, say, Rayleigh, SS6, it will be Essex that is responsible for taking over your application, not Southend.
SS0, SS1, SS2, SS9 and the southern part of SS3 are in Southend.
