Multiple Choice vs Standard

Am I right in thinking that the 11+ in Essex uses the standard format (i.e. NOT multiple choice) in its exams?

Is it worth practising with multiple choice to build confidence etc, or do you think it allows the student to rely on a range of answers?

Is nferNelson the best format to go with for practise papers?

Thanks

We did both with our daughter but it is the standard format that is used. Does no harm to practice both though.

Hi. If you are taking the test through the CSSE then the VR is now multiple choice format - Nov 2007 was the first time.
Details on the CSSE web site & they will supply a sample paper.
