Anyone know of people turning down their KEGS/WHSB offers?

Just wondered if anyone had heard of people intending to refuse their KEGS/WHSB places and remain in independant sector?
Desperately hoping our position on waiting list will be favourable - will find out in THREE weeks!

I met a friend today who has just turned down KEGS offer for her DS and will go to Brentwood instead . A refusal form has been returned. Hope this helps. Good luck with the waiting list outcome.
PS My friend was rather upset
about it but her husband and son prefer Brentwood.

We've heard of two boys this weekend who are turning their KEGS offers down in favour of independents - although one of them could be essexmum18's friend!
