Thanks Octsmum and BlueDoor. Looks like we may need to wait to be told about the tutor groups.

Is there a style of backpack they should go for?

I wondered if anything goes or something else?

Random but my daughter is worried about the lunches for the summer school... she doesn't want to get a hot meal if no one else does. I'm thinking it's August, she'd be better with a packed lunch (well the one the school offer!) anyway.

What are you planning?

I think the hot meals look great but fussy and dietary restricted DD doesn't agree so she is mainly having packed lunch.

Back from our shopping trip to Batemans. Feeling poor! Tommies was definitely cheaper with being able to buy m&s trousers and shirts. DD just better not grow too much!!!

We were there today! The woman asked if I wanted two blazers?!? I was planning on her wearing this one until it’s worn through and stops at her elbow

I'm a bit worried about the leggings. DD is slim but not skinny. We've bought her age 12 leggings and there is room to grow up but not out. Are they more stretchy than they look? What do people do if they have a more portly child?

We’ve gone gone for 12-13 leggings. My daughter takes age 11-12 clothes. has quite long legs, the waist is a bit big but not such that would cause an issue. We are going to have to have to change some of the blouses as they are more like dresses

BlueDoor wrote:DD2 is in yr7 and this year they DO have house PE T shirts for the first time (DD1 in yr10 doesn't have one). They are purple, red, green, yellow and blue with SHS on and are available from Batemans - you just click which colour you want according to your house.

Be aware that they size up VERY small!
I’ve just realised we bought the non-house PE top. Is that not right then?
