Ed Psych - Gloucester/Cheltenham area
Hi, I wonder if anyone could PM me with the details of a good educational psychologist in Gloucestershire? A friend is looking at possibly getting an assessment for a child aged 6 (is this too young?) but doesn't want to go through the school - a small country primary.

Hi Amber
Age 6 is possibly a little young to be considering an assessment - most EPs would prefer to wait until age 7. It depends on what the issues are really.
Your friend can find an EP through this website - just select "Educational" under field of work and then put in the postcode. It is worth looking carefully at the EP's specialisms - the nearest one may not be the most appropriate one.
