When it suits them...

Today my yr 6 had to take some prospective parents to the office, which she duly did.

The head gave said parents a tour of the school. As they left DD's classroom, the head asked her very pointedly "which school are you going to in September again?".

This is a school where the word "grammar" is tantamount to blasphemy, except of course when it suits them. DD was very aware that the school was taking the credit for her success in passing 11+, which made her smile.

How unfortunate for the Head to have sudden onset amnesia when showing parents around. I hope she takes herself off to the doctors for a check-up.

Ha, Ha, glad your daughter could smile about it.
In this town I have seen the dominant political party on the town council claim responsibility for good exam scores at the High School.....nothing to do with bright kids or supportive parents NOT.
