on the subject of house music do we assume that the two performances are identical and so DS is involved in both but I only need to attend once? We have an email address so we can inform them if DS cannot attend a session, after school will be difficult for us especially as he has enthusiastically signed up for Rugby club.

DD advises that only break & lunch time rehearsals are required - after school ones are voluntary.
7G have been told it is choir for all Yr7s if not involved any other way musically. Other houses may be different.
DD not sure if they are expected to attend both evening performances though.

As a year 9 vet, ,it won't be long before things settle down.Certainly by half term all the little niggles seemed to have been sorted,and by Xmas you wonder what all the fuss was about!

Your children have a perfectly good home - they do not need the State Brainwashing Facility (aka school) to take over!!!!
Leave the after school so called facilities for the inadequate and those who work all hours and need the free child-care
