Statistics - of a sort

Post by Perplexed 2009 »

For anyone interested in such trivia.....

Counted at least 14 school buses leaving Pate's one afternoon, some 70 seater; 7 of which were "Marchants".
One advertising Nailsworth.

OH went to open eve as he hadn't really seen around the school. In his group, the Deputy Head, Head of History, advised a Mum and girl that, the main difference between boys and girls, generally, when sitting 11pus, is that girls ponder the questions too long and boys tend to tear along and get it finished. She was stressing, she believed, that Pate's has 2/3 boys and 1/3 girls in many years, because the girls are NOT FINISHING the paper. She also said the first paper was like a warm up for number 2.

Back in June, OH spoke to a Richard Pate mum and DD, on the way to an Induction Day. She said Richard Pate usually gets about 12 or more into Pate's each year, but this only about 6.

Oh, and our "Speed Writing" teacher is new to the school.

generally speaking i would have to agree about the boy/girl thing although obviously there are exceptions although tearing long has disadvantages too, like thinking you know what is required and haven't read the question properly
