Re: CAT score, relationship to eleven plus performance Strou
I asked about my DD's CAT scores at parents' evening last week and the teacher said there would be no problem in me having them, and was quite positive about me seeing them. She hadn't seen them yet herself, though. I'll chase it up after half-term.
Thogh having read other posts, I won't base all decisions on them! I just want an idea of how realistic her hopes of getting into a Grammar are.

It does however give a good idea of how you child will cope once in grammar school.Weaver wrote: Thogh having read other posts, I won't base all decisions on them! I just want an idea of how realistic her hopes of getting into a Grammar are.

Anything below stanine 7 and you need to really, really think if it's a good idea, 'cause your child is (literally) average, or even below average!
It would have been interesting to have 6 or below as an option.

There you go Capers, I put a 6 or below option on the poll instead of the unused 7-9 no GS place option.

Roughly 20% Stanine 6 currently at GS

Which stanine do you mean when looking at levels? There is one for vr, nvr and q. How do we vote for SHS.

There is another poll running just for the Stroud schools.
