so much for not coming on here at midnight!

Good luck all - I am going to bed but relieved that DD likely to have a place at Ribston (score similar to D17C) if not her first choice of SHS

How do you accept your place online?

Not sure that you can - I think we get a letter with paper work to complete and send back.

That's absolutely crazy... The whole process has been done online why not the last bit? Absolute madness.

I phoned and they said a letter will be coming which you tick a box and send back to them. What a palaver!

When you send the form back, it's recommended you enclose an SAE, otherwise you don't get an acknowledgement that your acceptance has been received.

A friend of mine forgot to send an SAE a couple of years ago. On the final possible date for acceptances she phoned Shire Hall just to check her form had been received. It hadn't. So she had a very panicky drive into Gloucester to hand-deliver another form just before the deadline. Not good for the blood pressure!

I plan to hand deliver mine and request a copy signed to acknowledge receipt. I know people do not deliberately lose things but I am taking no chances !!!

We hand delivered ours this morning and asked for a receipt and apparently we were the first people to return a form (not that we were keen at all  )

Last year I phoned and asked if I could e-mail my acceptance. They said yes so I attached a copy of the signed form to the e-mail stating my acceptance of Pate's and had an e-mail in return confirming that they had received it.
