Hi following on from the query about Pate's blazers - is it the norm to get blazers with the badge already embroidered on or can you buy a badge and sew it on any blazer of the correct colour( I am thinking of Ribston in my case- I can potentially get a green blazer from my niece for a good price) but it may be helpful for others to respond about the other grammar schools too.
When to children get the idea it is uncool to wear a coat?? My 11 yr old DD has loved her big "flumpy" coat in the winter and would not go out with out it and thinks older kids a bit wierd for not wearing a coat in the rain/cold.
