Today's results via post!!

Hi All
Post just come and I can't stop crying. Was sure DD had failed but she has just passed.
She only knows one other little girl who sat the 11+, so I have everything crossed for good news for her now, and best of luck to everyone else too.

DD's results (July born)
SHS 222 (RANK 238)
RH 221
HSFG 210

I've read her results as RH place v likely, other two not very likely at all - does that sound right?

Have been compiling them already as we didn't know where we were so were working out our possible score from what we knew from the Pates email. We are just within the 180 for Pates. Will probably take the Denmark Road place if we are lucky enough to be offered one.

Hi All
Thought I would share our results as there seems to be some really BRIGHT kids on here for which you should all be really proud!!! So Congratulations to them ...... this is for the borderline cases like us - my DD got 209 for RH she is gutted as this is her preferred choice but hey I am going to be positive and say we will still put as first choice - it is a low birth rate year and she has proven she is capable of going there albeit 1 mark short so I think we just have to try to do what we can to achieve her wishes - isn't that what this is all about???? If not then appeal will be the way forward .......... I can't give up now when she has worked hard for this I hope you all agree .... so near hopefully doesn't always have to be so far ...... maybe somebody from previous years with similar experience could give me some hope?!

Thought I'd posted this but it hasn't appeared here so apologies if it turns up twice!

Anyway, to help everyone with how results compare, my son's results were:

STRS 204
Crypt 111.5
Marling, has qualifying score but not in top 120

He's disappointed about STRS but considering he had a meltdown during paper 1 we're incredibly proud of him and what he's achieved.

Thank goodness it's all over!

Well done to everyone's DC. Thought we'd share our results if a table is going to be compiled in order to help this/next years parents/children.

PATES- ranked 155th
STR -234
CRYPT- 126.5
MARLING- ranked within 120.

Exceptionally proud of my 31st Aug born son (only just made it into this school year by minutes (!!) and has been a 'tryer' from reception!!). Still weighing up which school will be our 1st choice, wasn't sure we'd even get 'a choice'!!
