Anyone see the Tonight programme last night?
I was not sure if the Kumon lady saying that she wanted her son to do GCSE's in year 8 was a good or bad advert for Kumon.
£50 an hour for tutoring!
People booking their foetus in for tutoring!!
No friends or wii games until after success!!!

Yes I saw it and the tutor charging £50 per hour had 100 pupils on her list!!
What about the headmaster who said a mother was overheard to say to her child "if You haven't done well in the exam your life will not worth living!! how sad is that! of course we all want our children to succeed, but surely not at any cost.

Hopefully she meant that the child needed to get into GS to have good prospects, rather than a threat of retribution!
