There was an incident of bullying in my sons class at Marling this week. The child being bullied is small for his age and has suffered the bullies in silence for several weeks. He finally reported it to a teacher. The school took action instantly- the bullies were pulled out of class instantly, given detentions, 'black marks"" on behaviour cards and parents informed. The class discussed bullying and how to handle it, and even the class teacher shared his experiences of being bullied even as an adult.

Top marks to Marling for a change !

That's lovely to hear and I'd like to "big up" Ribston too.

An issue arose this week which upset my DD. A teacher spotted it and intervened. This was followed up the next day and her form teacher was informed as well. I was so impressed that they were on the ball. Pastoral care is second to none.
