Oh gawd, the date of the exam would be within a few days of ds's 10th birthday (can we have a 10+ exam please!!!!). Not good :( Also, having to wait 7 days for the results for dd were bad enough but 7 weeks - double :( :(

Whatever the date for the test, surely it will have to be on a Saturday during term time? And any info prior to the test probably sent by email? Internet access while on holiday would be a good idea :-)

Would you delay tutoring till they make a decision?
I have told our tutor that we will be delaying tutoring for now because we didnt want our child learning a technique? that could be changing?....
just wondering what your thoughts are on this? thank you

If you were going to use a tutor I would use them to help with maths and English. Depending on what their SATS level is now. I they are already say a level 5 I wouldn't bother, you'll be fine :D I guess the new test will be good in that we will all brush up on the basics.

I think all I'd be doing is reading a wide variety.
