Nephew went to private primary - they still worked with national curriculum levels (same as state primary) and put them on his report, 4a, 5c, etc. suggest you ask class teacher what level he is currently working at. Good luck

Thanks Mum66. They don't give any levels on his reports unfortunately. I'm going to speak to his teacher after Easter as they've now broken up. He does occasionally mention "being marked for things" which I assume is some sort of assessment. We'll see.
