Bus to Ribston Hall (Kingsholm 103 Route)

Hi... please bear with as I'm a newby! Been lurking for well over a year though!
My DD has been offered a place at Ribston - sooo pleased!! We were unsuccessful on reconsideration but received a call this week to say that a place had become available and we were first on the waiting list
I am investigating the transport situation and wondered if anyone could help to clarify for me...
We are moving to the Kingsholm area in the coming months and I see there is a route that picks up locally (Route/Bus 103 I believe). Can anyone confirm if we will be entitled to a free bus pass... if not, approx. how much the transport will cost???
Just one last question - how do you arrange the transport (free or not)? Do I contact the LEA once we have moved or do I apply directly to the bus company?
Thanks in advance - oh and it's great to meet you all!
