Yes SD, those are rankings for all boys who have shared for each of the schools.

Just received Pates and it just says he is outside of the top 180 - which is fine.

If Marling has always used a ranking system then can you not use that one to estimate where you stand with the other schools? Same goes for SHS and the obvious one Pates. High ranking there but not a guaranteed place usually gets you a place STRS or HSFG.

Congratulations if the news is good. A pass is a pass so try not to stress. If not then honestly even getting the school DC wants doesn't equate to success I know and certainly vice versa as so many on this site have proved. Go read Tree's post in Bucks 'the tale of a girl'

DD has qualified for HSFG and Ribston, not Pates. No further details!

So chuffed DS3 will be joining his 2 brothers at Marling. He is ranked 275 but they've gone down to 281, 290 and 310 before!! Burst into tears with him- means so much that they'll all be together! Also passed for Crypt ranked 330 and they've gone to 340 in previous 3 years!!

Yep, didn't make Pates but ok for Tommies and Crypt. What a relief.

Ribston top 114

Weren't given a ranking but letter was pretty clear that if we applied we would get a place. It's Denmark Rd for us - DD delighted as we all are
