HSFG Croft Farm trip

Post by DebsB »

DD is off to Croft Farm tomorrow with HSFG Y7, and was in a panic earlier this evening because the letter doesn't say whether they should go to school in clothes suitable for the trip (which seems likely to me) or go in uniform with stuff to change into. She is very anxious not to do the wrong thing. Is there, by any chance, anyone awake and reading this website who knows the definitive answer to this, please?

Last year they went into school in their "home clothes", they didn't wear uniform. They did need to take swimming kit if I remember rightly.

Thanks. I was sure that would be the case, but I also understood how much she wanted to be absolutely certain before getting on the bus in home clothes!

How did she find the day DebsB? My DD loved the day, except for getting wet walking back from the river at lunch time. She has been buzzing all evening and is now only just going to bed! I think all of her Guiding experience means that she doesn't get quite as tired as others we know.
