My friend's child missed the exam at Pates due to illness at the weekend.Another parent thinks they will sit the same test as the original in a few days. I'm sure there must be another test to avoid cheating ? Can someone settle the arguement please.

Pretty sure it is the same test, otherwise it would be impossible to compare scores. Yes in theory it means a child who sat the test could tell their friend what was in it but they are unlikely to be able to remember specifics and are only damaging their own chances by giving another child an advantage.

It will be the same test.
QE boys manages to secure great students who get some of the top GCSE and A level results in the country and they use the same test a week later for illness and other reasons.
Any student who is stupid enough to tell this student what is in the test is putting their own chances of a place at risk so hopefully would not not do this.
All CEM backup dates are the same test as CEM do not provide any school with a second test paper. DG
