Re: Advice
get the CGP books, you need the Verbal Reasoning, English, Non Verbal Reasoning and Maths. there is some repeat between the VR book and the English book, and you don't need the writing part of the English book. (no written part to the test)
There are 3 main things
1. content. Does she know and understand all the topics covered? There are some things she probably won't have covered in school.
2. can she apply that knowledge in questions that are not totally straight forward
3. test practice, and test tips to prepare for doing that in an exam context. That includes speed, learning to have a sensible guess and not leaving a question blank, and things like if you can't do it, move on, don't get stuck.
You can use short practice tests to get up to speed, and you can use sites like freerice to improve vocab. You can find all sorts of sites to do quick practice eg quick practice of fraction questions, or identifying the verb in a sentence.
It is a good idea to do a longer under test condition practice, which you can do at home with practice tests bought on-line, or you can pay to go to a mock exam centre.
