Timing

Does the audio soundtrack let the child know when they are halfway through or is it just a one minute warning???

Anyone taken exam at Ribston before and know if there are clocks in each room so the child can keep track of the time?

What is everyone’s thoughts about kids wearing watches? Is it helpful or more of a distraction??

If they don't currently wear a watch then you need to get them used to using it for a few days before the exam or else they will just forget to use it. DG

1 minute warning, on longer papers 5 minute warnings.

can't remember where I got that from, but I think it was the FAQ

Not sure about your area but checking with my son today after SW Herts this is what I get:

1) They were given 1 minute warning after each section of VR (CEM).

2) They were given warnings in Maths (GL) after 30, 10 and 1 minute.

3) There was no clock in the room he sat.

Also check the instructions because my son cannot wear his watch at Pates as it is also a stopwatch and they aren't allowed.

My daughter did the test at Ribston last year and there was a clock in the room

My daughter sat the test at Ribston last year (and now goes to the school). She says there was a countdown clock on the board at the front of the room.
