2018 Gloucestershire - ranks/scores only please. Entry 2019

So we got the same for crypt and Pates - 526 (offered crypt but not offered Pates). How does that work, that our ranking was the same but other people have different ranks for those schools?

And hsfg was 225.

I'm going to add to the head scratching! As a 'rookie 11+' I am perplexed as my DD got:

Crypt 237
Pates 262

I think I saw some of the other scores posted on this and spotted that some who got in Pates 150, got a lower rank than my DD for Crypt!!! I know, it is the Pates score on all papers thing, but enough to make the head hurt, thinking about it. Good luck with those algorithms......

Your results are very similar to ours, although did not apply to pates. You need your marling result, you will find a rank of probably 250 ish which should be your best bet as strs is very borderline and you will get in crypt with that rank.

Marling issued results at 14:00 So check your spam bin or call them on Monday

My DS got Crypt 284, but Pates 292. My friend's DS got Crypt 327 but Pates around 210.
Presumably my DS got imbalanced scores among 4 subjects (hence lower rank at Pates) while my friend's DS got balanced scores (hence better rank at Pates).

First time poster here.. hopefully some of this will help with setting the scene.

Stroud - within top 150 out of 817
HSFG - within top 150 (though no indication of how many pupils shared results with the school)
Crypt - 164 out of 1900
Ribston - 163 out of 990
Pates - 426 out of 1700 (didn’t qualify)

So much as i expected really - i had a feeling my daughter would struggle to get into pates as her VR isn’t strong. Though clearly her other areas were very high.

Met the qualifying standard for all the following:

HSFG 330
Stroud 303
Crypt 734

Out of the 150 for all but confident we will get a place at one of the four. Not sure which is first preference yet. Will go to the open evenings next week to take a second look.

So happy that DD has qualified and I can breathe again!!!

i'm really confused with my DDs Crypt ranking, will he get a place with his ranking of 171? there are so many people who have received rankings lower than my DDs for Crypt but for STR, Pates etc they've got high rankings so i'm really confused.
