I finally received my e-mail from Admissions this afternoon confirming DS's allocation!

Cannot believe the system failed...note to parents next year, don't sit up waiting for an e-mail...it may never come!

Could you write to both the admissions team and the IT department? It might not improve things next year, but at least they might be able to lower parents expectations in the literature.
