Hi

DD has outgrown her football boots...bought at the beginning of yr7, not used until post Xmas & hardly worn, now outgrown. Her feet are having a growth spurt...anyone know when year 8 play football? My dilemma do I head out & buy a pair now & run the risk she's outgrown them before she even uses them or wait until later in the year & get some then?

Hi. Just asked my DD who has just finished yr8 at SHS. She said she only had 3 lessons of football in November and December and that was it. She didn't have football boots this year (she did in yr7, but didn't use them more than a handful of times) and nor did the vast majority of her class, just the small number of girls who play football out of school. She said they all just wore trainers. Thinking about it she did bring very muddy trainers home (fortunately in a plastic bag separate to the rest of her kit!).
