Gloucester to Stroud travel help

My DD and myself love SHS but we live in Longford and there doesn’t seem any travel options for us. Does anyone currently do this journey?

Everyone I know who goes from Gloucester to Stroud drops their child along the shurdington road (Toby carvery) to get the 66 bus at 7.46. But you are then tied to dropping off and picking up from the bus stop.
