Does anyone know if periods of unauthorised absence are taken into account when making appeals decisions?

Interesting question.. Not sure if they do but I would guess they may have a look at it (specially grammar schools)

It might well come up in any head teachers report.l, I suppose, which is usually asked for as part of the evidence.
