I think there are a few of us on here sending DDs to SHS in September. I thought we could have this thread to discuss any queries etc.

Some on here seem a little shy re declaring where their DD is going, so they could perhaps create a second user name if concerned about that.

I will go first! What are others doing about uniform? When DS started Tommies they had to be fitted for blazers months in advance, but there doesn't seem to be he same urgency for SHS. Do you know if there is a deadline?

Again, only with the permission of the moderators, and it would only be in extreme circumstances. It's not something that can be done by a member of the forum.

Thanks for creating this group. My DD will also be going to SHS in Sep 2021. Reg uniforms, I think I read on the school website that orders need to be made online by 3rd August? Also, if I'm not wrong the headteacher mentioned about uniforms during the open session. Don't remember sorry.

It all seemed a bit vague at the Q&A. There was a passing mention about supply issues due to covid, and he seemed to focus on the second hand sale, but I would prefer not to rely on that as I doubt they have 150+ jackets!
