Boy/girl ratio at Crypt
Does anyone know what the boy/girl ratio has been at Crypt for the last two or three years?

In my daughter's class y8 there are 8 girls out of 31. I think it's about the same in the year above and below. It can make friendships a bit trickier

In my son's year 7 year the ratio is between 3:1 and 4:1.

It's in the 25% to 33% range that has been mentioned.
It all probably comes down to individual preference - our DD is in Yr8 and specifically wanted to go to a mixed school (and could have gone to any of the girl only grammars with the result she got).
That was partly as a result of all the "Girl group A" vs "Girl group B" constant bickering and friendship issues that had gone on at her junior school, and she felt that having a mixed school would at least allow for more options in terms of friends and interests etc.
We then had a year of lockdown and home schooling*** and virtually no mixing between even classes in the same year group, let alone the rest of the school -as a result it's taken a bit longer to get an idea of who is who and who to be friemds with etc; but she loves the school and now had a good range of friends - both boys and girls.
EDIT: *** meant to say "remote learning" not "home schooling" (which Crypt did a great job with)
Hope that helps.

Hi
We had similar friendship issues at a small village primary school....we & DD chose Stroud High & have loved it....yes it is all girls but there is a much bigger group of girls to choose from & make friends with & there is also lots of groups to move between.
Crypt was only just going co-ed when we were on our 11+ journey and the number of girls was a bit unknown as well.
