from marling

You may find it helpful to know that the lowest rank position to be allocated a place at Marling School in March 2021 was rank position 476. In 2020, the lowest rank position was 454. In 2019, the lowest rank position was 396 and in 2018 it was 375. However, this number varies significantly from year to year and is affected by the number of applicants and shares. We therefore, provide these figures as an illustration only.

I really wish they would tell us how many children get in off the waiting lists each year even if they can’t specify the lowest rank number being offered a place in September. Although I know that last year in my daughter’s year at least four girls left during year seven so even the September number is not final.

I emailed STR about movement and waiting lists and she thinks the last person was about 390-400 and that they had 12 boys on the waiting list with a rank between 370 and 400.

Hello I hope everyone is well - 2 weeks to find out!

I am just querying the figures for Marling for previous entries on my sons e mail it had the below from Marling?

"You may find it helpful to know that the lowest rank position to be allocated a place at Marling School in March 2022 was rank position 472. In March 2021 the lowest rank position was 476. In 2020, the lowest rank position was 454"

Not sure why the figures vary so much?

Also In my crypt email it states "Last year the lowest ranked child offered a place at The Crypt School by the Local Authority on 1st March 2022 was 792."

Any light on the subject would be great! Thank you :)

Ok - if its wrong I am sorry but it did come from the schools themselves :)

Also good news for those with Marling ranks in the 400s :)
