On the point of Chesham High. It is a very good mixed gramar school which as far as I am aware has been undersubscribed for several years. Look on the Bucks posts (Sally Ann is a font of knowledge). Children from as far away as Harrow get places. My sister is moving to Bovingdon soon and will be applying for her youngest next year with many other local children. Of course it would mean sitting the 11+ but I am sure this would be possible even at this stage. I know it is a bit of a way but it may be worth considering. If your interested I would give the school a ring. As far as I am aware they still have places available for the current year 7. Good Luck.
