Up to this point, I think I have pretty much manage to keep it to the back of my mind. But there’s no denying it now, I’m getting anxious.
I guess this is how everyone is feeling now.
Good luck to everyone.......

Does anyone know how many children sat the consortium tests this year?

Based on the test times information the consortium schools put up on their websites (in case letters didn't arrive in time due to postal strikes) I worked out that the following numbers sat the Academic Tests:
Bushey Meads - 605
Parmiters - 923
Queens - 955
Rickmansworth - 509
St Clement Danes - 488
Watford Boys - 574
Watford Girls - no info put on website for Academic test
Given that all applicants to Bushey Meads and Queens sit the academic test it is easy to see how many applied to those schools this time round. These are less than last year (692 Bushey Meads and 1148 Queens' - from the moving on booklet).
For the music tests, I found the following numbers sat the tests:
Parmiters - 335
Queens - 200
Rickmansworth - 237
St Clement Danes - 281
Watford Boys - 191
Watford Girls - 198

30 days to go, hope all will be well. A lot of pressure on kids, and more challenges ahead. Council should ensure education quality of all schools to avoid this admission race in few school.
