According to the county's Determined Admission Arrangements for 2010-2011 (page 60), primary heads will be sent the information on Thursday 25th February, but they can't tell anyone.naxa wrote:Is it true that the primary schools already know the schools which schools their pupils have been allocated?

confidential info sent to primary schools
I'm surprised that in this day and age confidential information regarding us is allowed to be sent to primary schools before we are told ourselves. Or am I just being over sensitive this week!

Schools knowing First
No, I agree with you. I don't see why the school get to know something before me that I have not chosen to tell them and they did not help me with. The School you are applying for is not allowed to know your preferences so how come the school you are leaving gets to??? I don't intend to have any eye contact at all with anyone in the school who might know. I could not bear any pitying glances.

No, they are only told the name of the school you've been allocated.Daogroupie wrote:But are they also told if you got your first , second or third choice?
