11 Plus Exams Forum

In the 11+ NFER Letts paper and the new 11+ Letts paper it does not tell you how much time you need on the NVR paper.
In each section there are 12 questions and there are 5 sections alltogether in one paper(please note that the old and new one have the same number of questions).
Does anybody know how much time there should be?

My DS just gave his elevenplus. We used to follow the instructions in the booklet provided with the papers. Read each set of instructions and do the 12 questions in half the time. ie. around 6 mins for 12 questions. Some types were easy whereas some difficult. It would be better for you to know the exam rules of the school which is on your choice list. I hope this helps.

There are 12 questions in each section which means then-6 mins for each section.
