Those posters are talking about the DAO music test where you have to get 46 and above to get through to the second round. DAO does it by the mark and Herts Consortium does it by numbers.

We found out a couple of years ago that different consortium schools have different criteria for selecting for audition, and some of them do use a cutoff score, which varies between schools. So whether you get invited for an audition with a particular score will depend of the list of schools you applied to.

Also, Queens' and Parmiter's base the final decision on your audition score only, while the other consortium schools add the test score to the audition score. Correction: reverse that: only Q and P add the scores.
