5. The information about pupils and their rankings will then be shared and
processed through the Pan London arrangements on 2 February 2011.
This will produce the highest possible offer available to each applicant.
Obviously the lists will be fine-tuned over the next 2 weeks, but today is the day the list is generated and shared!!!!!

Just think both your dc's names are on there somewhere. Hope they are both on the lists you want them to be on. Only 28 more sleeps now! DG

Are you saying that all state Primary schools (i.e HT/Teachers) will know the name of the (state) Secondary school their students are headed to - before allocation day (i.e before the parents know about it from the local council) ?

Is this true for all counties (Herts for eg.) ?

Yes I think that's right. With our second child we hadn't applied on line and were frustarted that others that had already know their school offer. However, the head teacher confirmed what our school offer was....

Here is an example of a timeline, it is for Reading LEA, for next year, this year's dates have been removed from the web.
Resolution of multiple offers
Final offers to other LAs By 13 February 2012
Secondary and Primary Schools
informed of final allocation
24 February 2012
Allocation letters sent to parents 1 March 2012
Four years ago the online system failed for us probably as DS1's Indie school did not have a LEA code but the Head did phone me at work on the 1st of March and asked if I wanted to know the result. :D

Half-term gets in the way this year but I will be looking for any signs from the school staff.
