When do the schools find?

Does anyone know when the schools find out? I'm trying to interpret the look my child's teacher gave me.

Ooooh, that's the kind of thing that can really send the mind going, let us know what happens on Friday. I wonder if there's a chance that the online results could be earlier than 9 am?

schools have found out today but the head is not allowed to give the information until Friday morning. He/She is allowed to do this just in case you have not seen the postman.

tschools have not been given lists as a head I know that for a fact...
